The gathering and unity of young workers in residential areas boosted

The models, activities of the Youth Union have enhanced solidarity and gathered young people, young workers in the residential area, calling upon them to participate in Youth Union activities.

The provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province organize the Festival of Youth Religious People of Ethnic Minorities in 2024.

To attract young workers

Over the past time, the youth union and other organizations at all levels in the province have constantly strengthened and expanded the solidarity front, gathering young people, creatively applying contents and programs into practical activities. Specifically, at all levels, the youth union and other organizations have promoted the establishment of clubs, teams, and groups in dormitory areas, areas with a large number of young workers, young people from ethnic minority groups, young people with religious beliefs, urban areas, and apartment buildings in one of the practical models that contribute effectively to the implementation of the Youth Union Solidarity and Youth Worker Gathering Project.

In Tan Binh town, Bac Tan Uyen district, the Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union maintain the Modern Dance Club, creating a playground that attracts young people in the residential area to develop music skills, independent work skills, and teamwork skills. The club gathers many young workers, contributing to improving the spiritual life of young laborers.

In order to support and improve the quality of clubs, teams, and groups, the provincial Youth Union has focused on enhancing professional and vocational work for the Youth Union officials at all levels, as well as the heads of clubs, teams, and groups. Accordingly, the training programs have topics that are suitable for the requirements and practical situation, delving into organizing activities, management skills, gathering, and attracting young people. During the term of 2019-2024, the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels in the province has organized more than 150 clubs, groups, teams, and hobby models in the residential areas; notably, the establishment of clubs connecting young workers.

At the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, for the term of 2024-2029, the provincial Vietnam Youth Union has set targets and solutions to establish at least 100 new clubs, teams, and groups to gather young people and young workers, which will contribute to improving the effectiveness of attracting young workers and young laborers to participate in youth movements and programs at the local level.

Diverse activities

The expansion of the solidarity matrix, the gathering, and the care for young workers and special youth are achieving positive results through the implementation of the Youth Workers and Young Labor Unity Initiative, the Fund for Supporting Youth from Remote Areas with Special Difficulties, the model of "Model Youth Workers' Dormitory". In addition, the youth organizations, clubs, teams, and groups in non-state enterprises and dormitories have also strengthened measures to attract young people from ethnic minority groups and religious people to join the Youth Union and Youth Association.

On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15, 1956 to October 15, 2024), the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province organized a festival for young people of religious and ethnic minority groups in 2024. This is a healthy playground, creating opportunities for young people of ethnic and religious backgrounds in the province to exchange and connect with the passionate, dynamic, and voluntary spirit of youth. Participating in the festival, Mr. Arifin, the head of the Youth Union of the ethnic workers in Di An ward, Di An city, expressed his joy and excitement when immersing himself in the festival program and activities of the Youth Union - Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. For him, participating in the local Youth Union - Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union activities has connected him more with his homeland, Binh Duong province.

Mrs. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said that in recent times, youth unions at all levels in the province have focused on activities according to the preferences and cultural festivals, taking care of the material and spiritual life of ethnic and religious youth in industrial zones and rental areas. These programs have attracted thousands of ethnic minority youth and religious youth to participate. The work will be implemented by the Youth Union to continue fostering unity and gathering young people of different ethnicities and religions in the residential area.
