The scheme of building Chemical incidents preventing and responding plan in Binh Duong to be approved

On Apr 26, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of PPC, chaired the meeting to approve Department of Industry and Trade’s scheme of building Chemical incidents preventing and responding plan in Binh Duong.

The purpose of the Chemical incidents preventing and responding plan in Binh Duong was to enhance the compliance with laws on business, storage and use of hazardous chemicals of organizations and individuals; strengthen State management to organizations and individuals producing, trading, storing, transporting and using hazardous chemicals; proactively prevent incidents of unsafe chemicals and respond promptly and effectively when a dangerous situation occurs; uphold the role and responsibilities of various branches and levels, heads of agencies and units in e prevention and response to chemical incidents; coordinate with functional forces to respond promptly problems occur.

After listening to the consultant’s reports and the draft plan as well as comments of participants, Mr. Liem asked Department of Industry and Trade to cooperate with the consulting unit to edit some contents, reset the header, finish the content, and then submit to PPC.
