The whole province has more than 35,000 good farmers in production and business

To implement the movement of good farmers in production and business in 2019-2021 period, Farmers' Union at all levels in the province continued to maintain and develop in terms of quantity, size, quality and economic efficiency to make an important contribution to the stable socio-economic development of the locality. On average, every year, the number of farming households that achieve this title at all levels is over 35,000 households, accounting for 91.8% of the registered households.

According to the Provincial Farmers' Union, the emulation movement of good farmers in production and business has encouraged the establishment of various types of farms gaining high economic efficiency. The province has now 643 farms according to farm classification criteria, with a total production area of more than 3,457 hectares; many farms earn VND billions per year.

Besides, farmer households have established small and medium enterprises, cooperative groups and cooperatives in order to connect, expand business scale and increase production efficiency; at the same time, actively consolidate and develop collective economic forms in agriculture and rural areas.
