Thuan An city announces adjustment of general planning until 2040

On July 28, Thuan An city People's Committee held a conference to announce the master plan adjustment of the general planning of Thuan An city until 2040 (hereinafter referred to as the project).

Accordingly, the project was approved in Decision No. 1837/QD-UBND dated July 14, 2023 of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee with the goal of building and developing Thuan An into a smart, civilized and modern city.

Thuan An city has a total natural area of 8,371.18 hectares. In 2021 -2030, the project states the striving to develop Thuan An city to meet type 2 criteria which should be type 1 criteria by 2031-2040. It is forecasted that by 2030 the city's population would be about 750,000 and about 850,000 by 2040.
