Thuan An city’s Red Cross Society kicks off “humanitarian market” model 2020

Thuan An city’s Red Cross Society has just opened the “Humanitarian market” model 2020 at An Phu ward’s Center for Culture and Sports.

The market included 10 booths with a wide range of products from necessities to electronic appliances. Earlier, the city’s Red Cross Society delivered 2,400 vouchers worth VND20,000, VND30,000 and VND50,000 to the local poor and near-poor people, lottery ticket vendors and laborers with difficult circumstances. Each of them was given 3 vouchers worth VND100,000. The total expense of the program was nearly VND100million from donors.

It is known that the “Humanitarian market” model is implemented from June 7 to late June, 2020 in 10 communes and wards of the city. This is one of significant programs done by the city’s Red Cross Society, aiming to offer help to needy cases, due to Covid-19 pandemic.
