Thuan An’s Youth Union launches “Green Sunday” program

To mark the 130^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890-May 19, 2020), Thuan An city’s Youth Union held a “Green Sunday” program.

Accordingly, the city’s Youth Union members tended, cleaned up a garden in memory of Uncle Ho in An Phu ward. The program was also launched by the Youth Unions of all 10 communes and wards in the city with activities tidying up streets, planting and tending green trees.

Representative of the city’s Youth Union said that the program aimed to raise Youth Union officials, members and locals ‘awareness of environmental protection; study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings “For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees, for the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people”.
