Thuan An strives to collect 2,100 units of blood

Thuan An town’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation, on June 8, forwarded a conference to extend orientations, tasks for voluntary blood donation in 2018 and honor outstanding collectives, individuals in the local voluntary blood donation campaign in 2017.

The Steering Board last year organized 9 voluntary blood stages with nearly 3,070 participants and 2,215 units of units given. In 2018, the town will strive to receive 2,100 units of blood, exceeding 100 units of blood compared to the set target. To achieve the above result, the Steering Board will continue strengthening propaganda work, raising public awareness of voluntary blood donation; opportunely honor outstanding collectives, individuals in the local voluntary blood donation campaign.

On this occasion, the town’s People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 181 individuals and collectives in the local blood donation campaign last year.
