To contribute youth power in the new term

 Up to now, nine Youth Unions of districts, towns, and cities in the province have completed grassroots Youth Union's Congresses at communes and wards. The grassroots Youth Union's Congresses were successfully convened in accordance with the regulations and the direction of the superior union levels. After congress, grassroots Youth Unions continued to carry out youth works and movements according to targets set by resolutions to contribute to the construction of their municipality.

Executive Committee of Tan Dinh Commune (North Tan Uyen District) for the tenure 2022-2027 was introduced at the congress.

 Successful congress

In Ben Cat Town, the congresses of communes, schools and agencies were held and completed in accordance with regulations. Nguyen Minh Tan, Secretary of Ben Cat Town, said: "The units held  Youth Union grassroots congress, the secretary election, and met the requirements of content, documents, organization according to the direction of the Town Youth Union. After the Youth Union congresses of the town's Party bloc, An Dien commune and Tay Nam High School took place successfully, the Town Youth Union held a conference to learn from experience to continue direct grassroots Youth Unions in the town to held well the congress of their unit”.

In Thu Dau Mot City, the City Youth Union also directed the organization of the congress according to each bloc. Specifically, the wards' bloc has Hiep Thanh ward, the Phu My ward; The agencies' bloc has grassroots union of the City Police. After the grassroots congresses ended, a number of ward youth unions in the city also held congresses to directly elect secretaries to guarantee quality, promote democracy and be on time under the direction of the City Youth Union.

Nguyen Minh Tam, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Youth Union, said: "The congresses have ensured the correct implementation of summarizing contents of resolutions of the last tenure, and defined the direction, goals, and tasks of youth activities, movements in the new term.

In addition, the grassroots congresses discussed and commented on draft documents of the 12th National Youth Union Congress, the 11th Provincial Youth Union Congress, and the City Youth Union Congress, and elected Executive Committees for the new term, elect a delegation to attend superior congresses. Grassroots Youth Unions also objectively and comprehensively assessed its limitations and causes to overcome and have orientations, solutions to strengthen Youth Union organizations.

The grassroots congresses were successful, were held in accordance with regulations, and at the same time were able to elect members of Executive Committees that own great abilities, pioneering spirit, enthusiasm for youth works.

Efforts made in the new term

At the end of January 2022, Tan Dinh Commune Youth Union (North Tan Uyen district) also held its congress. Le Quoc Long, Secretary of Tan Dinh Commune Youth Union, said that the Resolution of the 10th Commune Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure clearly states: To continue to strengthen the Party's leadership in youth work during this period to promote industrialization and modernization of the country with specific contents and criteria in order to improve the quality of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization.

A number of investment programs and plans for socio-economic development were included in the planning and construction; The education system was invested and upgraded to create favorable conditions for young people to study and cultivate knowledge. Those are favorable conditions for Youth Union works and movements of Tan Dinh commune to further develop in the coming time. From the situation and context of the commune, the Commune Youth Union must utilize advantages, overcome shortcomings and limitations of the 2017-2022 tenure; unite to make good use of opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, be determined to successfully implement goals and directions of youth movements and works for the 2022-2027 term.

With the action slogan: "Tan Dinh youth, solidarity, exemplary, bravery, creativity", the Commune Youth Union has implemented the goal of at least 5 youth projects serving young people in the commune and at least 5 projects "For children" in order to help poor children going to school; at the same time organized at least 10 activities to support and help children having difficult circumstances and established at least 2 youth clubs for economic development.

To develop the results of the past term, meet the requirements and tasks in the new period, the goal of youth works and movements in  2022-2027 of Thanh Phuoc Ward (Tan Uyen Town) is to arouse, among young people, a sense of national pride, a spirit of overcoming difficulties, volunteering, being exemplary in the construction and defense of the Fatherland. At the congress, the Ward Youth Union also determined that the key work is constantly innovating the content and form of youth activities by developing and improving the quality of Youth Union's activities from the grassroots level, creating all favorable conditions to promote the initiative and creativity of Youth Unions and members in activities.

In the new term, the Ward Youth Union will organize at least 7 voluntary activities for the community every year; carry out at least 5 projects and tasks for young people to participate in socio-economic development and urban civilization construction; establish at least 1 new branch in enterprise, establish at least 3 branches, young workers' clubs... With targets set out in the resolution, Thanh Phuoc youth will unite, be creative, and pioneer to build Thanh Phuoc ward in the direction of civilization, development and sustainability.
