On the morning of July 31, Binh Duong provincial Market Management Division organized a training conference on handling and preventing violations in e-commerce in 2024.

Delegates also discussed common violations in e-commerce, typical behaviors and products that frequently occur, practical experiences in preventing and combating e-commerce violations, and proposed solutions to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement in the field of e-commerce.
According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Market Management Department, the rapid development of e-commerce has led to an increasing number of illegal business activities, such as trading in prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, and goods that infringe intellectual property rights, with unclear origins on various websites and social media platforms (Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok, etc.). These activities have had a significant impact on the business environment and the rights of consumers.
However, detecting and dealing with violations of counterfeit, fake, unclear origin, and source of business activities on the electronic environment encounters many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, the training session will contribute to raising awareness, unifying the operations of market management forces and relevant forces in monitoring, detecting, and combating violations in the field of e-commerce and consumer protection.
