To enhance poultry influenza prevention

Provincial People’s Committee has just issued document regarding the improvement of measures to fight poultry A influenza – H7N9 virus and other hazardous virus types. Accordingly, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall coordinate with departments, agencies and local people’s committee to enhance supervision of transportation, trade, slaughtering, and sales of poultries in the province with focus on transportation, slaughtering and sales of poultries of unclear origins while organizing dissemination of poultry influenza danger and guiding effective measures against poultry influenza.

Local people’s committees are required to immediately review and allocate locations for poultry slaughtering in market places and organize sanitation and sterilization with combined measures to prevent poultry influenza.
