To qualify 20 OCOP at provincial 3-star level and higher, efforts made by Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee

According to the provincial People's Committee, the province in 2023 will continue to accelerate the implementation of the tasks of the national target program of building new countryside. The communes that have met the new countryside standards continue to maintain the level of completion and improve the quality of the criteria according to the provincial Advanced Criteria, striving for 100% of communes to be recognized as advanced rural villages, 100% of communes with products participating in the OCOP program, and at least 20 products with 3 stars or more will be certified as OCOP at provincial level.

In addition, developing urban agriculture in the southern region of Binh Duong is focused to create urban green space and ecological environment by the end of 2023 so that the coverage rate of industrial and perennial crops will remain at 57. 5%. The planning to develop livestock in the direction of modern industry, creating quality products, ensuring food safety and hygiene and protecting the environment in the northern region of the province shall be fostered.
