To strengthen surveillance of infection case reports and treatment of Covid-19

Currently, the number of Covid-19 infection cases tends to increase, especially the appearance of new subvariants of Omicron (BA.4, BA.5, BA.2.75, BA.2.12.1) with rapid transmission. In Binh Duong, so far, 20 infection cases of Omicron sub-variants were recorded, especially variants BA.5, BA.4. However, some localities do not continue to monitor, report cases and the situation of receiving and treating Covid-19 patients fully and promptly.

In order to continue to actively prevent and control effectively the Covid-19, Provincial Department of Health requires medical centers of districts, towns and cities to strengthen surveillance, detect and promptly report Covid-19 cases to the Provincial Center for Disease Control. The Provincial Center for Disease Control summarizes cases and declares to get patient codes on the Ministry of Health's automatic code-issuing system right after testing results and detecting cases of Covid-19 are available, and report to Department of Health in accordance with regulations. Medical examination and treatment facilities need to seriously report on the collection and treatment of Covid-19 patients at their units and send to relevant units.
