Under the Project on training cadres and civil servants of the Women's Union at all levels and Heads of Women's Union branches for the period of 2019-2025, on November 8, provincial Women's Union coordinated with provincial School of Politics to organize a ceremony to open a training course on association work for leaders of the local Women's Union branches in 2023.
The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Director of HCM city-based Women's Academy, leaders of provincial Women's Union and 66 learners throughout the province.
The training course takes place from November 8 to 10, with contents, including the position and role of grassroots Women's Union organizations; duties of Women's Union branch leaders; skills to capture and reflect members and women’s thoughts and aspirations; introduction about a number of effective membership mobilization models in and out of the province.
It aims at fostering professional skills in association work, building up a contingent of Women's Union branch leaders with political stance, moral qualities, enthusiasm, mastering skills and closely following grassroots to well serve entrusted tasks of the association while building skills on mobilizing women, social work, and operational skills of Women's Union branch leaders, thereby contributing to helping all-level Women’s Unions to well perform their assigned tasks.
