Training on people-to-people diplomacy in 2022 held

Early August 19, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) held a training conference on people-to-people diplomacy in 2022 for officials of the FFCs at all levels, those directly engaging in propaganda, mobilization and foreign affairs of agencies, departments and mass organizations in the province.

At the conference, Dr. Phan Anh Son, Vice-Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Affairs disseminated the following contents: Foreign policy of the 13th national Party congress; news on world and regional situations; implementation of the 13^th  Party Central Committee Secretariat’s Directive No. 12-CT/TW, dated January 5, 2022 on strengthening the Party’s leadership, improving the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy in the new situation; requirements for foreign affairs in the current situation…

Speaking at the conference, Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Permanent Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said: Through the training conference, provincial FFC wants  officials in charge of  Fatherland Front work at all levels and officials directly engaging in propaganda, mobilization and foreign affairs of agencies, departments and mass organizations will better understand the role and position of people-to-people diplomacy in the new situation, thereby raising awareness to contribute, propagate and mobilize cadres, members, and people  from all strata to actively and effectively participate in people-to-people diplomacy, focusing on building up an image of Binh Duong people being friendly, affectionate and full of compassion...
