Unifarm increases fruit-growing area for export

On Feb. 24, Pham Quoc Liem, general director of U&I Agriculture JSC (Unifarm) said that during the past Tet holiday 2015, Phu Giao district-based An Thai hi-tech agriculture area invested by Unifarm harvested honeydew melon and banana for signed orders.

On an area of 1ha of growing honeydew melon in glass house, the company provided this kind of fruit for domestic market. In addition, the company prepared to offer banana grown on an area of 12ha for foreign market.

In terms of plan 2015, Unifarm general director Pham Quoc Liem shared that with the expanded markets in the past year, the company will continue to focus on increasing area of growing honeydew melon and banana and so on in 2015 to satisfy demand of the signed orders.
