Vaccination concurrently carried out for rearing animals in Di An Town

Di An Town Veterinary Division just carried out concurrent vaccination on 4 popular diseases of poultry influenza, foot-and-mouth disease in swine, blue-ear, and canine on dogs and cats.

After 3 weeks of vaccination, local medical officers have implemented 7,000 doses of poultry influenza for 70% of poultries under the vaccination drive, 7,500 doses of foot-and-mouth disease covering 80% of the area. It is expected that the two remaining vaccine types shall be implemented until April 15 before concluding the vaccination drives on April 25.

For vaccination against canine on dogs and cats shall be available through the season. After 3 weeks, 1,000 doses have been administered locally.
