VGCL Chairman pays a working session to Binh Duong

Reportedly, Binh Duong last year excelled at action programs launched by the VGCL on implementation of the Resolution of the 9^th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union. The province generated jobs for more than 46,000 laborers; got 70% of non-State enterprises with mass labor deals; set up 229 trade union locals with 70,406 trade unionists and had 20.28% of trade unionists and laborers with vocational training.

The province effectively implemented a task of taking care of laborers’ lives before, during and after the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2015. Particularly, the province presented 333,208 gifts worth more than VND71bln; supported bus tickets for 21,400 laborers with a total value of VND12.25bln.

At the working session, Mr.Tu said that the local Trade Union activities over the past time received the attention and instruction of provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, but there were shortcomings for change…

Mr.Tung spoke highly of activities done by provincial Labor Union. He emphasized that the local Trade Unions at all levels needed to make more efforts to be able fulfill entrusted tasks. Provincial Labor Union needed to launch emulation movements on great holidays and mobilize enterprises to get involved in emulation movements, helping Binh Duong complete the local tasks on socio-economic development in 2015.
