Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association to hold get-together in New Year

Morning Jan 9, provincial Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association held the first meeting in 2016 to disseminate 2016 tasks at Thanh Le Cultural Park. Attendants of the meeting were Lt. Gen. Pham Van Dy, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Zone 7; Le Hong Liem, Deputy Chairman of Le Hong Liem, Deputy Chairman of Central Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association; Le Huu Phuoc, Member of Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Propaganda and Training Committee; and members of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc province Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association.

At the get-together, Lt. Gen. Pham Van Dy informed delegates about East Sea’s current situation and the demarcation between Vietnam and Cambodia. The association has now 404 members, 14 affiliates. During the year, the association organized many effective people diplomatic activities; visited, gave gifts to the poor in Cambodia; visited and supported poor members; granted allowances to specialists who used to work in Cambodia...

On this occasion, five individuals received Prime Minister’s "For international obligations" badge for many achievements in international obligation fulfillment, making contributions to Cambodia revolution 1979-1989; 2 collectives and 2 individuals received merit certificates and 5 individuals received Central Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association’s medal; 4 collectives and 11 individuals received PPC’s merit certificates

On this occasion, there are five individuals were awarded the badge "For international obligations" of the Prime Minister for many achievements in the implementation of international obligations, helping Cambodia from 1979-1989 revolution; 2 teams and two individuals received awards and 5 individuals received the logo of Central Vietnam Friendship Association - Cambodia; 4 teams and 11 individuals received the commendation of the PPC.
