VJA opens training course on law enforcement skills

Late July 17, Vietnam Journalist Association coordinated with Ministry of Justice and the Project of Governance for Inclusive Growth (GIG) of US Agency of International Development held a sandwich course of law enforcement at The Mira Hotel in Thu Dau Mot City. Attending the course was 30 journalists from 14 agencies in cities and provinces from the South Middle Land to the South of Vietnam.The 2-day course introduced and equipped the journalists of general knowledge about legal documents and law enforcement monitoring.the trainees joined discussion about topic development, writing skills, interviewing skills, information presentation skills regarding law enforcements in articles and stories.GIG is a part of Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) of USAID in Vietnam from 2014 to 2018 so as to intensify state governance and facilitate growth on wider basis with concentration on legal environment improvement, and presentation and integration responsibility system.Reported by T.Trang – Translated by Vi Bao
