On behalf of provincial Buddhist community, superior Buddhist monk Thich Hue Thong, deputy head of provincial Buddhist Sangha (photo) donated VND2bln to provincial Fund for the Poor. Of the total figure, VND1.4bln (equivalent to 70 unity houses) was contributed by donors and Buddhist followers in the province while the reminding money (equivalent to 30 unity houses) came from provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board.

 Dao Ngoc Nu, chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) received the money and expressed her thanks to superior Buddhist monk Thich Hue Thong, provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board and Buddhist followers in and out of the province for their contribution to provincial Fund for the Poor.
