VND6billion spent on supporting needy children

On the afternoon of January 16, provincial Children Support Fund’s Support Council held its 12^th program “Spring with needy children” 2019.

The event was attended by Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with more than 1,000 poor and disabled children across the province.

Coming to the program, these children had a chance to enjoy special art items performed by singers from HCM city and Binh Duong Television-Radio Station’s art troupe. Around VND6billion was raised to the program. The organized used the money to give 1,815 gifts and support many charity programs for social support centers… with a total cost of more than VND3billion.
