VND857bln mobilized for new rural construction

Long Nguyen commune in Bau Bang district was recognized as a new-style rural commune one year earlier than planned by provincial People’s Committee. It was also Bau Bang district’s first commune completing the new rural construction program.

After one-year recognition, Long Nguyen commune has continued promoting criteria of the new rural construction program, thereby making a basic change in all the local aspects. Noticeably, the average income per capita of locals has increased to VND38.99mln a year.

Under the emulation movement of “The entire province sharing efforts in new rural construction”, Long Nguyen commune has also mobilized around VND857bln from many different sources for the local new rural construction. Of the total figure, more than VND787bln came from State budget, more than VND26bln from businesses and more than VND44bln from locals.
