A noble deed

Provincial Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation in collaboration with its TDM city branch and the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center has just organized a voluntary blood donation campaign in the city. When being questioned why they took part in the campaign, most blood donors herein said that blood donation was a very significant deed, so they registered to give blood.

Duong Quang Toan, residing in TDM city’s Phu Cuong ward, said that he has so far donated blood 12 times. He has also actively mobilized his relatives to get involved in the local voluntary blood donation campaign. With great significance, drops of blood given will contribute to bringing smiles and happiness to many people.

This contributed to increasing the number of locals taking parting in the annual voluntary blood donation campaign. In 2015 alone, the whole province organized a total of 88 voluntary blood donation stages with 16,400 units of blood given or 102.5% of the year’s target…”.
