Voluntary blood donation campaign held

Tan Uyen town’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation has just coordinated with HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize the third voluntary blood donation campaign of 2019.

The campaign absorbed more than 300 volunteers, including Red Cross members, permanent militia forces, officials, civil servants, Youth Union members…As a result, the organizers collected 297 units of blood.

It is known that the annual activity has received enthusiastic response from sectors, mass organizations and numerous people. With the message of “A drop of blood saves a life”, it is of noble significance, upholding the spirit of “mutual affection, mutual love”.
