Whole province strives to have additional 6 communes recognized as new rural ones

Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD) has just issued the Plan No.289/KH-SNN directing the implementation of the 2017 plan for agriculture and rural development.

The plan’s general target is to further realize provincial Party Committee’s Action Program No.77-CTHD/TU carrying out the Resolution No.26-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas; provincial People’s Committee’s Action Plan No.388/KH-UBND dated February 12, 2014 on restructuring agricultural sector towards added value and sustainable development, attaching special importance to urban and hi-tech agriculture in association with new rural construction. Especially, provincial DoARD will pay attention to executing the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Decision No.266/QD-BNN-TTr dated February 7, 2017 on promulgating a plan on the peak year of inspection on management over agricultural materials, food safety in the field of agriculture.

The plan’s concrete targets are to increase its agro-forestry-fisheries value by 4% compared to 2016; reach 99% in the rate of people using clean water; strive to have additional 6 communes recognized as new rural ones; widely multiply effective production models in order to raise locals’ income…
