The provincial People’s Committee solemnly started work on provincial Political and Administrative Center for the first phase on Nov. 19. The work includes a 21 storey twin tower for central agencies, guest house, and international conference center with the total area of 243,000sqm. Surrounding the tower will be state agencies such as Tribunal, People’s Procuracy, Social Insurance, Customs Bureau, State Bank, State Treasury and so on that will be linked with universities, hospital, industrial parks, residential areas.

A lake and square with a capacity of 10,000 people will be located in the front of the tower. This is a design won the first prize of an international contest held by the local party committee.

The work is invested by the provincial People’s Committee and Becamex IDC builds it in the form of Build-Transfer. The first phase of this work will be completed in 2013.
