Over 83% of National Assembly deputies on November 17 agreed to adopt the resolution on the NA’s inspection program in 2011.

Accordingly, at the ninth session of the 12th NA, the NA will study the report on the work in the whole term of the NA, the State President, the NA Standing Committee, the Prime Minister, the President of the People’s Supreme Court and the President of the People’s Supreme Procuracy; and conduct question and answer sessions (if any). During the first session of the 13th NA, the NA will discuss the addressing of voters’ expectations since the 8th session of the 12th NA to the first session of the 13th NA.

 During the second session of the 13th NA, the NA will discuss the report on the work of the Government, the People’s Supreme Court and the People’s Supreme Procuracy; conduct Q&A session of NA deputies; and inspect the implementation of policies and laws on environment at economic zones and trade villages.

 The resolution states clearly that the NA Standing Committee, the NA Council of Ethnic Minorities and other NA Committees will have to build up and carry out their inspection programs.
