Youth Month and Traffic Safety Year 2019 launched

North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union has just teamed up with sectors, mass organizations to organize a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2019 and the Traffic Safety Year 2019 under  the theme of “Youths in North Tan Uyen district volunteering for the community” at Tan Thanh primary school.

Accordingly, during the Youth Month and the Traffic Safety Year 2019, the district’s Youth Union will organize many activities in celebration of the 50^th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament with a journey “Youths in North Tan Uyen following Uncle Ho’s teachings”; uphold the movement of new-style rural construction via “Voluntary Saturday”, “Green Sunday” campaigns.

The district’s Youth Union will also award 30 “Green dream” scholarships worth VND1million each to poor-but-excellent pupils; carried out 3 model youth canals in Lac An, Thuong Tan, Tan My communes…; boosted dissemination of information about the Law on Road Traffic among teenagers and children.

At the ceremony, representatives of the district’s mass organizations and Youth Union branches signed an emulation agreement on the Traffic Safety Year. They also registered to realize significant youth works. On this occasion, the district’s Youth Union Standing Committee awarded 20 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils together with 50 helmets for other pupils. The district’s Youth Union members also took part in a parade on propaganda of traffic safety on main streets…
