Dong Hoa Ward (Di An City) to strictly manage industries at risk of environmental pollution

To implement resolutions and urban development programs of the province and city, Dong Hoa Ward (Di An City) tightened management of production facilities located within residential and urban areas and polluting the environment, affecting urban civilization. Accordingly, the ward examined, processed and encouraged 169/180 animal husbandry households to switch to other industries, terminate livestock farming, reaching 93.89%. 71/80 wasted material facilities ceased business and relocated, reaching 88.75%; garbage collection volumne reached 96%. The ward regularly corrects garbage collection, requires the collection of garbage and fees to be performed as prescribed.

To relocate environmental polluting establishments out of residential areas, Dong Hoa Ward collaborated with the superior inspection agencies, worked with 58 companies in the area. As a result, 26 households ceased business, 1 company (Vifaco 2/9 Company) causing serious pollution was relocated by the provincial decision and 10 companies were forced to stop business or relocate. Dong Hoa Ward will take drastic actions to attract construction investment, execute projects, communicate, examine, relocate facilities polluting the environment in the earliest possible time.
