So far, Binh Duong province has ranked second nationwide in FDI attraction with 3,732 projects capitalized at US$35.1billion. The whole province has also lured 41,765 domestic projects with total registered capital of more than VND353.9trillion. For getting this result, along with effectively realizing the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, the province has always attached special importance to improving the local investment climate; selectively absorbed investment projects and created favorable conditions for enterprises to work.

Truong Gia Binh, CEO of FPT Corporation said that this will be a chance for the local enterprises to meet and boost cooperation. Plenary meetings and dialogues at the Horasis Asia meeting 2019 are held with the aim of helping participating delegates to present a systemic view of activities affecting the drivers of Asia’s economic success and how Asian businesses interact regionally and globally.

According to Don Lam, Director of Vina Capital Group and Deputy Chairman of Global Agenda Council on ASEAN (World Economic Forum), investors participating in the Horasis Asia Meeting are very interested in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. Hosting the Horasis Asia Meeting 2019 is seen as a smart decision of the province in investment attraction.

The Horasis Asia Meeting 2019 will also bring the local enterprises more information and help them be proactive to grasp information for investment opportunities.

Good preparation

The Horasis Asia Meeting 2019 is expected to bring together about more than 1,000 high-ranking guests from 60 countries and territories worldwide, along with 350 domestic delegates, including leaders of the Government, ministries, agencies and representatives of cities, provinces and enterprises.

In the framework of the meeting this year, the province will start a series of the smart city events on November 23 ahead. Particularly, the province will launch the “hot line” system 1022; announce the World Trade Centre in Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) project; inaugurate the creative startup center…

It is known that preparation for the Horasis Asia Meeting 2019 has been on schedule. The province’s functional agencies have also had good preparation for ensuring order and security during the event.
