According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s index of industrial production (IIP) in January 2017 surged 5.46% compared to last year’s same period.
Of that amount, mining industry increased by 4.26%; processing and manufacture by 5.38%; production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioners by 20.23%; waste and sluice treatment by 12.26% against last year’s same period.
The province’s industrial products also saw growth in comparison with last year’s same period. Particularly, metal sheets rose by 54.6%; handbags by 46.2%; commercial electricity by 20%; paper by 16%...But, some products like soap, fabric, fridges…decreased by 49.5%, 31% and 30% over last year’s corresponding period.
