Whole province has over 5,345 hectares of hi-tech farming land

The province’s total cultivation area for hi-tech application in the first half of 2020 was more than 5,345 hectares, up 9.2% compared to the same period last year, according to a report by provincial Farmers ‘Society.

Meanwhile, the province’s total area for urban agriculture was around 114.8 hectares, up 2% compared to the same period last year. There was a decrease in the situation of diseases in crop plants with a total area infected of 7,037 hectares.

The whole province is now home to 142 chicken farms with nearly 8.3million fowls; 154 pig farms with 517,000 pigs; 15 duck farms with 205,000 and 2 milk cow farms with 819 cows.
