Provincial Students Association has just kicked off the 2014 Binh Duong provincial Festive Day for Students at provincial Youth Union to celebrate the 64th anniversary of Traditional day of Vietnamese students and pupils (January 9, 1950-January 9, 2014) and the success of the 9th Congress of Vietnamese Students Association for the 2013 and 2018 tenure.

The festive day featured many significant activities, including a flower arrangement contest, a photo exhibition named “Voluntary hallmark”, pavilions of province-based universities and colleges…

A ceremony to mark the 64th anniversary of Traditional day of Vietnamese students and pupils was also organized at provincial Youth Union in the evening of the same day. At the ceremony, delegates together with nearly 500 students at province-based universities and colleges reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese students’ day; watched a video clip introducing some highlights made by provincial Students Associations and its affiliates at province-based universities and colleges in 2013, the movements of voluntary students across the province…

On this occasion, provincial Students Association awarded the title of “Students with five good points” at provincial and central levels to 19 outstanding students; presented “January Star” prizes to 1 student; awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 consolidation prizes to winners of the 2013 “Voluntary hallmark” photo competition; organized the first stage of the scholarship program “Dai Thien Loc (DTL)-Lighting the dreams of Binh Duong’s students” in the 2013-2014 school year. 25 poor-but-excellent pupils were awarded “DTL-Lighting the dreams of Binh Duong’s students” scholarships worth VND2mln each, funded by DTL Joint Stock Company.
