235 scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Early August 15, Vietcombank’s North Binh Duong branch coordinated with Ben Cat town’s Study Promotion Association to organize a ceremony to award 235 scholarships and gifts, comprising of schoolbags, books and notebooks, to the local good pupils in the 2018-2019 academic year with a total value of VND210million under the “Vietcombank gives strength to school” program.

Do Thuy Trang, Deputy Direct of Vietcombank’s North Binh Duong branch said that the branch’s annual program aimed to join hands with mass organizations and donors to give strength to the local poor-but-excellent pupils.

It is known that over the past five years, the branch’s “Vietcombank gives strength to school” program awarded 1,140 scholarships worth nearly VND2billion to poor-but-excellent pupils in Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district.
