2nd Lotte Factory in Binh Duong opens

Early February 23, Lotte Vietnam Co., Ltd. held a ceremony putting its factory at Ben Cat town-based My Phuoc I Industrial Park into operation. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

This is the second factory of Lotte in Binh Duong after its chewing-gum factory in Thu Dau Mot city. Covering ​​4 hectares, the factory has total investment of VND 500 billion, producing products aimed at the domestic market. Especially, Lotte will start producing Choco Pie with the "Chocolat" brand which is expected to launch in April ahead. Choco Pie is also Lotte's key brand in Japan.

After putting its second factory into operation, Lotte will further set up a solar power generation system, minimizing plastic materials at the chewing-gum making factory.
