400 gifts presented to the poor in Bu Dop

*Poor households under free medical check-up

Early April 3, provincial Red Cross Society held a delegation to visit and present gifts to poor people in 2 communes of Tan Tien and Tan Hoa in southern Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Dop district.

The delegation extended best regards to the local poor people while giving them 400 gifts worth VND350,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, soya source, cooking oil and Biwase drinking water. It is known that these gifts have a total value of VND140mln, funded by a charity group in Di An town and Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment One-Member Co.Ltd.

*Early April 3, North Tan Uyen district’s Women’s Union in collaboration with the district’s Young Physicians Club and the Youth Union of BIDV’s Binh Duong branch provided free medical check-ups and gifts worth VND50,000 each, comprising of salt, fish sauce, sugar and seasoning power, for 150 poor and beneficiary families in two communes of Lac An and Hieu Liem.

The delegation also presented 50 Casio calculators to pupils with difficult circumstances. It is known that the program has a total expense of more than VND20mln, funded by the Youth Union of BIDV’s Binh Duong branch.

This was part of a series of voluntary activities for the community’s health done by the local youngsters during the Youth Month 2016 and in response to  campaign of “Youth in North Tan Uyen district joining hands to build new-style rural areas”.
