400 people in Thuan An mobilized to give blood

Thuan An town’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation has just coordinated with the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion and Hematology Center to organize the fourth voluntary blood donation stage of 2016.
At the voluntary blood donation stage, physicians of the center made dissemination of information about the significance of blood donation, demand for the use of blood and blood-related diseases. More than 400 local officials, Youth Union members, armed forces also registered to give blood. As a result, the organizers collected 318 units of blood, equivalent to 11,300 milliliters of blood.
