40th anniversary of Southern liberation and national unification day held

On April 24, Tan Uyen town solemnly held a get-together to mark the 40^th anniversary of the Southern liberation and national unification day (April, 30, 1975-2015); the 40^th anniversary of Tan Uyen liberation day (April 29, 1975-2015) and the 1^st founding anniversary of Tan Uyen town (April 1, 2014-2015). Attending the get-together were Mai The Trung, secretary of the provincial party committee and other delegates.

At the event, delegates tracked back historic victory of April 30, 1975, the 40^th anniversary of Tan Uyen liberation day. April 30 triumph has become a glorious history for all Vietnamese Party, people and military to bound for the cause of industrialization and modernization. 

Until now, Tan Uyen town’s socio-economy has been overall developed and gained a high growth. 100% of communes, wards have completed secondary high school universalization; 100% of teachers have won stipulated standards; 10 out of 12 communes and wards have gained the national standards on healthcare; 100% of local households have enjoyed national electricity grid; 100% of local families have used clean water and so on.

On this occasion, Tan Uyen town party committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee granted gifts to local heroic mothers for their great contributions.

Also the same day, Ben Cat town held a meeting to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of Southern liberation and national unification day with the participation of over 200 participants who are heroic mothers, veterans and leaders of Ben Cat town through various stages.

At the event, delegates tracked back historic tradition of Ben Cat town military and people during the 2 resistance wars. The town was conferred the title of People’s Armed Force Hero. Until now, Ben Cat town has had 4 units and 8 communes, wards being granted the titles of People’s Armed Force Hero, 321 mothers receiving the title of heroic mothers and 2,721 martyrs and more.

On this occasion, Ben Cat town party committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee presented the Party insignias for 25 comrades.
