4th fine art and photography exhibition 2015 held

To celebrate the 40^th anniversary of Southern liberation and national unification day and May Day, the provincial Society for Art and Literature in cooperation with the local department of Culture, Sport and Tourism held the 4^th fine art and photography exhibition 2015.

Attending the event were 54 authors with nearly 150 works selected from 492 photography ones and 845 fine art ones. According to Vo Dong Dien, chairman of the provincial Society for Art and Literature, works displayed at the exhibition show many themes and plentiful and diversified materials.

As a result, the organizing board granted 22 awards to excellent individuals. Of these, work named “Truong moi” of Pham Minh Giang won the first prize of photography category while “Xom muong” work of Nguyen Quang Son, “Hoi uc tuoi tho” of Le Thanh Tung and Song que of Nguyen Tan Cong gained second prizes and third ones. There was no first prize for the fine art category at the exhibition.
