Tan Uyen town holds activities welcoming Vietnam Book Day

Center for Culture and Sport in cooperation with Tan Uyen town division of Education and Training just held activities welcoming Vietnam Book Day in response to the World Book and Copyright Day (April 23).

After talk-show and exchange on book and reading culture, design contest on artistic book arrangement and presentation with the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland sea and islands, nature and land of Tan Uyen attracted the participation of 16 teams from primary schools, secondary and high schools across the town. As a result, the organizing board handed over 1 first prize, 1 second one, 2 third ones and 5 consolidation ones to excellent teams.

Through the contest, the organizing board wanted to help readers exploit and approach material sources, taking movement of reading book into a good habit and cultural beauty for teachers and pupils.
