450 gifts donated to disadvantaged people

On the National Day of Protection and Care for the Disabled (April 18), Nguyen Van Nam, Chairman of provincial Sponsoring Association for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients yesterday led a delegation to visit and present 150 gifts worth VND250,000 each, including sugar, milk, confectionary and VND100,000 in cash, to the disabled and orphans at provincial Vocational Training Center for the Disabled and the disabled in Bau Bang district’s Lai Uyen commune. The charity program was funded by enterprises, individuals and donors across the province.

*The same day, Phu Giao district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) in collaboration with the People’s Committees of 10 communes and Phuoc Vinh township visited and donated 300 gifts worth VND300,000 each to the disabled across the district and those at the district’s Vocational Training Center for the Disabled.

At the visiting places, leaders of the district’s DoLISA extended their best regards to the disabled while encouraging them to overcome difficulties to rise up in life.

On this occasion, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients also sent 264 boxes of Dutch Lady milk to disabled children in Phu Giao district.
