Solving difficulties

Opening a lively dialogue, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong, head of Propaganda and Assistance Department under Binh Duong provincial Taxation Bureau replied 3 questions of businesses.

Firstly, Huston Vina Co.Ltd in Ben Cat district queried some issues such as deduction of allowances of foreign employees, VAT refund of non-merchant import of specific tools…

Next, a company from VSIP in Thuan An town raised queries about capacity apportionment of projects.

Finally, Binh An Water Supply Company in Di An town queried about share payment via an account in a foreign nation.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong on behalf of the taxation bureau leaders replied the questions satisfactorily.

For Huston Vina Co.Ltd’s case, Huong said that foreign laborers’ allowances but wages listed in a labor contract are deducted as stipulated. For non-merchant import, if the company has enough import VAT documents and meets conditions of deduction, the company will enjoy VAT deduction.

In terms of capacity apportionment of projects, companies enjoying tax incentives must calculate expenses, turnover to specify business income tax as well as incentives.

For share payment, once businesses implement duties adequately, they can implement share payment via an account in a foreign nation.

The mentioned questions are one of many questions solved directly by the local taxation bureau.

Instructions of profession skill offered

With more than 100 businesses participating in the dialogue, aside from answering by documents, the provincial Taxation Bureau replied in details over 40 queries raised directly by reps of businesses.

According to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong, most of the questions raised at the dialogue mainly were focused on profession skill. Meanwhile, the dialogue’s main purpose was to listen to businesses’ ideas on administration procedure, behavior of tax cadres and to solve queries relating to tax policy. This turned the dialogue into a session of guiding tax profession skill.

However, with high responsibility, tax cadres still replied businesses’ queries in details whilst many reps of businesses listened and noted back and even recorded all questions and answers at the dialogue.

Huynh Dinh Tri, vice head of the provincial Taxation Bureau, said with the purpose of listening ideas of businesses, the provincial Taxation Bureau in cooperation with sectors of customs, management board of industrial parks and so on has held meetings and dialogues for businesses in an attempt to grasp, exchange, and explain as well as timely instruct businesses about implementation of tax duty.
