Action Month for Food Safety 2017 launched

On the afternoon of April 5, provincial Steering Board of Food Safety held a conference to implement the Action Month for Food Safety 2017.

The conference approved a brief report on food safety management in 2016; a brief report on the outcomes of the peak action campaign of the Food Safety Year in agricultural production; a plan to realize the Action Month for Food Safety in 2017; a plan to strengthen inspection and monitoring over food contamination for alcohol products and a joint plan to carry out a youth work “Civilized-food safety street”,

The action month for food safety 2017 is themed “Safe production, trade and consumption of safe vegetables and meat; Controlling alcohol and preventing alcohol poisoning; Ensuring street food safety”.

The objective of the action month is to raise awareness of the local authorities, management officials, producers, traders and consumers of the importance of ensuring the safety of food, especially fresh food such as vegetables, meat and seafood, as well as alcohol…

The action month will be implemented across the province from April 7 to May 15. Along with regular activities on food safety, this is also the highlight of the year, launching a communications campaign to promote activities for the quality of food safety.
