Activities for poor children

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels made a variety of practical activities for poor children during the Youth Month 2016.

Under the campaign of “For sentimental attachment to border areas, islands”, provincial Youth Union in collaboration with Di An town’s Youth Union held a delegation to visit and present gifts worth VND40mln to pupils with difficult circumstances in Meo Vac district in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.

Dau Tieng district’s Young Physicians Club and Skills Club also organized a 50-member delegation to carry out social charity activities in Minh Hoa commune’s Hoa Loc hamlet.

Accordingly, the delegation gave free haircut for the local poor children. They were also presented 100 gifts, including confectionary, 600 notebooks together with 200 sets of clothes…It is known that the program has a total expense of more than VND50mln.
