Activities in response to "All people's day against drugs" under adjustment

Provincial People's Committee has requested localities to adjust activities in response to the "All people's day against drugs" 2021, due to the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, the province will not organize a ceremony in response to the "All people's day against drugs " 2021 in Thu Dau Mot city to ensure the requirements of Covid-19 prevention and control while switching to online organization. Binh Duong Radio and Television Station will be responsible for organizing a talk show on  drug prevention and control; combining with relevant units to broadcast propaganda clips from a contest "Propaganda clips on drug prevention and control" and propaganda skits on drug prevention and control.

Binh Duong Newspaper will carry out special pages, organize online exchanges and talk shows to propagandize the local drug prevention and control. Whilst, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will carry out 2 mobile propaganda loudspeakers from June 20 to late June 26; coordinate with provincial Police Agency in editing propaganda articles, making copies of propaganda discs and providing 9 districts, towns and cities with them for broadcasting.

Provincial Youth Union will implement live stream contents on drug prevention and control via social networking sites. Provincial Police Agency will design propaganda posters on drug prevention and control, and then  transfer to localities in order to carry out printing procedures for propaganda at lodging facilities, markets, bus stations, schools...

On the basis of propaganda articles provided by provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, provincial Steering Committee 138 and its branches will organize propaganda activities via the local radio system; hang propaganda posters and banners in response to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and All People's Day for Drug Prevention and Control on main roads of each locality.

Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Youth Union will set up a specific plan to visit and give gifts to trainees at provincial drug detoxification centers, 2 support points for drug addicts and typical clubs and individuals in drug prevention and control, ensuring Covid-19 prevention and control in accordance with regulations.

Provincial Department of Education and Training will advise provincial Steering Committee 138 on organizing activities in response to the “All people's day against drugs"; organize the awards ceremony of the drawing contest based on the local real situation…
