Activities mark HCMCYU’s 85th founding anniversary

Early Mar.26, provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union held a ceremony to mark the 85^th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) (Mar.26, 1931-Mar.26, 2016), with the participation of more than 200 Youth Union members.

After reviewing the history and development of the HCMCYU over the past 85 years, the organizers honored the bloc’s outstanding Youth Union branches during the Youth Month 2016. On this occasion, the bloc’s Youth Union also handed over decisions of establishing 5 sub-unions at non-State enterprises, namely International Wimbledon Co.Ltd., Tung Shin Co., Supor Vietnam Co.Ltd., GoMo Vietnam Co.Ltd. and CMC Vina Co.Ltd.; organized the awards ceremony of the “I’m a Youth Union official” contest,  the “Youth Festival” cross-country run and honored 14 outstanding Youth Union officials. The bloc’s Youth Union carried out many significant activities during the Youth Month, including launching the “Green Sunday” campaign; organizing the “For juniors” program; donating houses of compassion to needy Youth Union members…

*The same day, Thuan An town’s Youth Union organized a get-together to celebrate the 85^th founding anniversary of the HCMCYU (Mar.26, 1931-Mar.26, 2016) with the participation of more than 300 members.

The town’s Youth Union also honored 85 outstanding Youth Union members and set up a “Khat vong tuoi tre” (youth aspiration) group. On this occasion, 5 individuals were awarded the mementoes “For young generation” and 18 others also received the certificates of merit of Chairman of the town’s People’s Committee.
