Additional 8 health stations in Phu Giao nationally standardized

Phu Giao district’s public health system has continued being perfected. Reportedly, the district in 2014 had 8 out of 11 health stations nationally standardized. There were all 11 health stations with doctors, midwives and each quarter, hamlet with community health staff.

Also in 2014, Phu Giao organized medical check-up and treatment for 207,658 people or 98.8% of the yearly plan, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%. The district well realized national health programs. The rate of malnourished children under 5 was reduced to 4.26%, an year-on-year decrease of 0.07%. As many as 1,750 children under 1 were vaccinated against diseases, or 102.9% of the yearly plan, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.
