Administrative border landmark negotiation signed for Binh Duong and Tay Ninh

Leadership of the two provinces sign the negotiation memorandum

December 22, at the venue of Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee was the negotiation conference to determine administrative borders of the two provinces of Tay Ninh and Binh Duong. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, the Deputy Chair of Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and Tran Thanh Liem, the Deputy Chair of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee attended the conference.

On reviewing the administrative border status of the two provinces in accordance with documents and maps by Directive No. 364-CT defining the non-overlapping border of Saigon River and Dau Tieng Lake, no disputes or conflicts was found. The administrative border of the two provinces is 60,380 meters long in 3 district border lines and 10 communal border lines. The border lines include Hung Dong and Don Thuan communes of Trang Bang District, Ben Cui and Phuoc Minh communes of Duong Minh Chau District, Tan Thanh and Tan Hoa communes of Tan Chau District, Thanh Tuyen, Thanh An, Dinh Thanh, Dinh An, Minh Hoa communes and Dau Tieng Township of Dau Tieng District.

After negotiation, the conference agreed to take Saigon River as the administrative border including the bed line of Dau Tieng Lake of the two provinces. The final agreements will become legitimate for signing and reporting to the government for approvals as per regulations.
