Animal products cross-provincial transportation well controlled

In 2014, Binh Duong Provincial Department of Veterinary has checked over 2,500 tons of processed meat, 1,130 cattles, over 2.7 million poultries, and 119 million poultry eggs transiting in the province. The department also checked over 8,400 cattles transported from Ben Tre, An Giang, and Soc Trang, over 5,000 piglets from Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh, over 11.3 million kilograms of animal products from other provinces and abroad.

Besides, animal checkpoints in the province have been on 24/7 operation to strictly control animal transportation and prevent disease spreading.
