Around 2,000 children under free heart examination

The “Trai tim cho em” (For children’s hearts) program co-held by Vietnam Television Station’s Golden Heart Fund, Viettel’s Binh Duong branch, HCM city’s University of Medicine and Pharmacy and provincial General Hospital, on January 7 and 8, provided free heart examination for around 2,000 children under 16. 

Under the program, children with heart disease will be funded for surgery with the maximum level of around VND63million. It is known that this is a humanitarian heart surgery program for poor children under 16 in Vietnam. After 8 years of operation, the program has successfully supported heart surgeries for more than 3,500 children with difficult circumstances.
